Conversation Partner
Being a conversation partner allows our English learners more opportunity to practice their verbal skills. It also helps develop relationships and both will learn of each other's culture.
Open Door has as many as 80 students who come through and register at each registration. We need about 20 workers at our registrations which happen 3 times a year.
In December, Open Door has a large Award Ceremony for our students. We have had as many as 300 in attendance. This takes lots of preparation and volunteer help.
